Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life with creativity, using fresh ingredients and a wide range of cooking techniques. You will operate and maintain a safe, efficient workstation while following production guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Validated knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations (sanitation and storage).
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
• Properly store food following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
