Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to help bring recipes to life, using fresh ingredients and the best equipment, while flexing creativity in a fast-paced environment. You will follow production guidelines and safety procedures, set up workstations, prepare ingredients, and cook with various methods to serve guests and clients with high quality meals.

Qualifications

Experience as a cook or related role.
Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods.
Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
Interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, peeling.
Safely use utensils including knives.
Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
Bake, roast, broil, steam using various methods.
Arrange, garnish, and portion food per guidelines.
Store food following safety policies and procedures.
Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests.
