Aramark is seeking a Cook who will turn recipes into high-quality dishes in a busy kitchen. You will be surrounded by fresh ingredients and modern equipment, experimenting with flavors and cooking styles while following safety guidelines.

Formación

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, various cooking methods, and sanitation practices.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrates math and counting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling items.
• Safely uses utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food per guidelines.
• Stores food properly following safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to safety policies and sanitation requirements.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Role may evolve with changing duties.
