Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel ingredients.
• Safely use knives and a variety of utensils.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and use diverse cooking methods.
• Present dishes according to guidelines and portion control.
• Store food properly following safety policies and sanitation standards.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain courteous service and positive interactions with guests and coworkers.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and asset security guidelines.
