Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team in a hands-on role, bringing recipes to life with creativity while following production guidelines and safety procedures. The position emphasizes quality cooking, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.

You will work with fresh ingredients, operate kitchen equipment, follow standardized recipes, and ensure food is prepared safely and served with a positive attitude. This on-site role emphasizes compliance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roasts, broils, steams, and use various cooking methods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
• Store food per safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure asset security.
