Responsibilities

• Identify numbers in show that are the choreographers' responsibility.
• Identify numbers that will be worked on collaboratively with Director.
• Attend Auditions.
• Create Audition Routine.
• Run Dance Call During Auditions.
• Create Callback Routine (if necessary).
• Run Dance Callback.
• Attend Callbacks.
• Collaborate on Casting Decisions.
• Create Rehearsal Schedule with Rehearsal Production Team.
• Attend Read-Thru.
• Plan, Attend & Run Dance Rehearsals.
• Communicate Needs to Production Team based on Rehearsals.
• Attend Act 1 and 2 Stumble Thrus, Run Thrus.
• Designer Run.
• Collaborate with Costumer on Shoe Needs for Students.
• Help with Light Design.
• Space and Adjust Choreography based on Set Design.
• Ensure Numbers are Visible to Cast on Stage for Spacing.
• Attend Tech Week.
• Attend Sitz Probe.
• Collaborate on Tempos & Cuts with Music Director.
• Attend & Help Organize Outside Events/Awards Ceremonies.
• Attend Production Meetings.
• Send Notes to Cast.
• Take Notes on Videos.
• Attend Shows & Clean Before Shows.
• Collaborate with Production Team
