Job summary

The City of Wildwood is seeking a Camp/Youth Programs Supervisor to oversee daily operations of seasonal camps and youth activities. You will train and supervise seasonal counselors, manage registrations and records, and coordinate with the Parks & Rec Office Manager on budgets and supplies.

You will develop themed activities and curricula to boost creativity, teambuilding, and communication, while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver's License or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of computers and data processing.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of seasonal camps and youth programs.
• Plan and organize activities and develop curriculum to enhance creativity and teambuilding.
• Train and supervise seasonal camp staff; manage schedules and records.
• Maintain attendance and registration records; prepare reports and sign-in/out sheets.
• Manage camp budget and coordinate with Park & Recreation Office Manager on supplies.
• Coordinate with custodial staff on facility cleaning and safety.
• Communicate updates and schedule changes to parents/guardians; document disciplinary actions.
