Job summary

The City of North Wildwood Recreation Department seeks a qualified individual to plan, organize, promote, lead, and supervise recreation programs, camps, and events for all ages and abilities. Knowledge of sports is required and MS Office skills are needed.

A bachelor’s degree in recreation or sports management is preferred, a valid driver's license is required, and flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays is expected. North Wildwood residents preferred; EOE.

Salary Range: $34,000–$40,000

Under supervision, responsible for planning, organizing, promoting, leading, and supervising recreation programs, camps, and events for all ages and abilities. Knowledge of sports is required. This position may require the individual to obtain specialized certifications when required. The individual must demonstrate competent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office. Must be able to work flexible hours and be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A bachelor’s degree in the field of recreation, sports management, or a closely related field is desired, or an equivalent educational or work experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.

North Wildwood residents preferred.
