Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a part-time Cake Decorator in Waukesha to prepare and decorate cakes for various occasions. The role includes maintaining cake displays and processing orders. Weekend availability is required, with shifts from 6 AM–2:30 PM or 8 AM–4:30 PM.

Responsibilities include managing cake out-dates, inventory, and coordinating with customers and team members. Opportunities exist to work in deli/bakery areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Creative and energetic personality.
• Able to work with customers regularly.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and decorating cakes for multiple occasions.
• Fill and condition the cake case throughout the shift.
• Manage cake out-dates daily.
• Receiving and processing cake orders.
• Managing cake and icing inventory.
• Stocking and maintenance of product and displays.
• Maintain a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas.
