Job summary

Meijer is seeking a cake decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions and to fill and condition the cake case during the shift.

Candidates must be 18+ and available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You will manage cake out-dates, orders, inventory and displays, while delivering friendly service to customers. There may be opportunities to work in deli and bakery areas, with weekly pay and development programs offered.

Qualifications

• Be able to work efficiently with a strong eye for detail.
• Excellent written communication skills are preferred.
• Creative and energetic approach to decorating and presenting cakes.

Responsibilities

• Managing cake out-dates daily.
• Receiving and processing cake orders.
• Managing cake and icing inventory.
• Managing cake decorating station and sanitation procedures.
• Maintaining positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stocking and maintaining product displays to standards.
• Potentially working in deli and bakery areas.
