Job summary

Meijer is seeking a cake decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for various occasions, and to fill and condition the cake case during shifts. You will manage decorating stations, maintain inventory, and interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.

Key duties include handling cake orders, ensuring freshness, and maintaining cleanliness and organization across bakery and deli areas. Weekend availability is required with early shift options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Manage cake out-dates daily.
• Receive and process cake orders.
• Manage cake and icing inventory.
• Operate decorating station and prepare icings per sanitation procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stock product and displays according to quality standards.
• Possible work in deli and bakery areas.
