Job summary

ShopRite’s Bayville location is seeking a Cake Decorator to support the Bakery Manager with decorating, packaging and presenting baked goods. You will help ensure quality, consistency and a positive customer experience in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with daily bakery operations while delivering friendly service to shoppers in Bayville, NJ.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and speaking English fluently.
• Ability to assist the Bakery Manager.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Prepare trays to Company and Customer satisfaction, and decorate baked items.
• Rotate products and ensure accurate signage and pricing.
• Follow recipes and QA standards for safe food handling and presentation.
• Perform duties in accordance with ShopRite policies and safety programs.
