Job summary

ShopRite of Brooklawn in Browns NJ is seeking a Cake Decorator to support daily Bakery operations, including decorating pastries, preparing trays, and maintaining cleanliness. You will work closely with the Bakery Manager to deliver quality products and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work in varying temperatures while following safety and hygiene guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to assist the Bakery Manager.
• Able to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager with daily operations and decorate pastries.
• Prepare trays, mix dough, icing, packaging, filling and decorating as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary Bakery area.
• Provide friendly customer service and rotate merchandise for freshness.
• Follow recipes and QA standards to ensure product quality.
