ShopRite of Sicklerville in Sicklerville, NJ is hiring a Cake Decorator in the Bakery Department. The role supports the Bakery Manager with daily operations, including baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging, filling, and decorating of pastry and bread items to deliver a superb customer experience while maintaining a clean, attractive department.

Job requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying temperatures, and interact with customers in a friendly manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to assist the Bakery Manager.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Maintain department sanitation and QA standards.
• Greet all Customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Follow recipes to produce food products of specified flavor, texture, or color.
• Dress and groom according to Company policy.
