Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking energetic arts & crafts instructors to lead daily creative sessions for children ages 4 to 14 in our after-school programs. You will implement the company curriculum, provide constructive feedback, and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate is an artist with strong communication skills, able to work well with students, parents, and fellow staff, and committed to upholding our Code of Conduct and core values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with children.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily arts & crafts instruction to students between the ages of 4 and 14 with different ability levels.
• Excellent planning, organization, communication and time management skills.
• Familiar with Sketching, Painting, and Mixed Media materials such as pencil, charcoal, acrylic paint, brushes, color markers, crayons, watercolor and craft paper.
• Engage kids positively, encourage creative thinking, hands-on projects.
• Promote and stimulate interest and participation in art.
• Organize and prepare daily plans in a fun and creative manner.
• Use effective classroom management skills to lead the activity and create a fun environment where everyone feels included.
