Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking an arts & crafts instructor to lead engaging projects for children aged 4 to 14 in our after-school programs. You will provide constructive feedback, follow our curriculum, and create a fun learning environment.

The ideal candidate is an energetic artist with a passion for teaching, strong communication with families, and the ability to collaborate with the leadership team and peers. Child abuse clearance and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in roles like tutoring, camp staff, or youth programs.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily arts & crafts instruction to children ages 4 to 14 with diverse abilities.
• Plan, organize, and deliver engaging projects using sketching, painting, and mixed media.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Manage supplies, inventory, and equipment; organize daily lesson plans.
• Collaborate with other staff and model positive behavior and communication with students and families.
