Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; AA/BA degree a plus.
1 year experience in the arts field.
Experience teaching or training individuals in group settings.
Experience with lesson plan development.
Submit to background checks in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Developing, teaching & maintaining scheduled Activities.
Develop and maintain arts, theater, music, dance and poetry.
Organize and create art exhibitions, dance routines, theater presentations, music recitals and poetry jams.
Assist with recruitment and retention of participants.
Maintain daily attendance for all courses.
Attend program staff meetings, trainings, and special events
Submit weekly reports to the Program Director.
Accompany participants to art, theater, and dance related trips.
Keep space clean and present for participants.
Report changes to the Program Director; other duties as assigned.
