Job summary

GreenFields is seeking a Creative Arts Assistant to plan and lead engaging activities for residents, support outings and events, and foster socialization, wellness, and joy in a compassionate senior-care setting.

You will work with a dedicated team to provide resident-centered programming, ensuring safety and inclusivity, while building relationships with residents and families in a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Two years leisure time programming experience, fitness/wellness background preferred
• Valid NYS driver’s license class 1- 5, prefer class C, no moving violations within past three years
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development, reviewing, administering, and coordinating of department policies and procedures
• Implements and participates in daily resident activities, sometimes including evenings
• Meets with residents/families as necessary
• Responsible for daily arrangement of rooms and furniture to accommodate planned programs
• Performs administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms and reports
