The role includes running games and crafts, planning events, leading groups, music, outings, and one-on-one visits. If you enjoy making others smile and can adapt to each day, we’d love to meet you.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare, senior living, recreation, activities, hospitality, childcare, customer service, events, or similar experience is helpful.
• You can teach someone how an activity department operates.
• It is much harder to teach someone to genuinely enjoy making other people happy.

Responsibilities

• Run games or crafts with residents.
• Help plan and decorate for parties and events.
• Lead group activities and sing-alongs.
• Take residents outside or on outings.
• Play music and facilitate recreational activities.
• Engage residents one-on-one to spark conversations.
