Job summary

Prairie Farms is seeking a Mixmaker/Separator Operator in Luana, IA. The role involves producing in-spec products by operating cream cheese mix and separator equipment, following SOPs, and assisting on the packaging line as needed.

You will ensure safety, quality, and yield targets while performing in-process testing and documentation. The schedule is 6a–6p with rotation, including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dairy or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills to calculate production yields and weights.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cream cheese mix and separator equipment.
• Follow blend recipes, SOPs, and SSOPs to ensure in-spec product.
• Perform in-process testing and adjust processes to meet specs.
• Maintain equipment and clean as required.
• Complete required documentation (production and CIP records).
• Work without direct supervision and adhere to safety and GMP policies.
