Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. Luana plant is hiring a Mixmaker/Separator Operator. The role focuses on producing in-spec product by following established recipes and operating standardization equipment, with additional tasks on the packaging line as needed to satisfy customer expectations.

The Cream Cheese Mix will be produced as production dictates. The position reports to Production Manager. Schedule is 6a-6p with rotation including every other weekend; pay starts at $26.22 per hour with full pay

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent skills by experience.
• Previous dairy or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills to calculate production yields, and understand weights and measures are required.
• Must be able to read, interpret and understand and verbally communicate in the English language.
• Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions.

Responsibilities

• Work without direct supervision.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, GMPs and quality policies are followed.
• Follow blend recipes, formulas, SOPs and SSOPs for CC standardization equipment.
• Complete all required pre-start up sanitary requirements.
• Insure proper ingredient addition and In-Process testing as required.
• Adjust in-process to ensure in-spec product.
• Maintain product yield targets.
• Notify management of deviations threatening specs.
• Maintain equipment and environment safely.
• Complete documentation (Production and CIP records).
• Other duties as required.
