Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Pallet Jack certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Load ingredients into mixing machine hopper from conveyor, scales, or hand trucks.
• Start machine and adjust valves to admit steam or cooling fluids for blending.
• Operate machine until mixture reaches desired consistency and unload into container or mill.
• Operate auxiliary equipment to prepare mixture for final processing.
• Attend to automatic mixing machine and maintain ingredient levels.
• Record temperatures and usage data for batter and start-up charges.
• Make equipment adjustments for efficiency and product quality.
• Set up equipment for start-up and change over; perform preventive maintenance.
