Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial credit, underwriting, portfolio management, or lending experience.
• Strong financial statement analysis and credit risk evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of commercial lending structures, documentation, and regulatory expectations.
• Ability to make sound risk-based decisions with independent credit judgment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review analyst financial analyses, annual reviews, and covenant compliance.
• Make independent credit judgments on risk ratings and credit actions.
• Escalate high-risk transactions and policy exceptions.
• Identify developing credit concerns and propose risk mitigations.
• Monitor borrowers' financial performance and industry conditions.
• Understand portfolio performance and adjust risk as needed.
• Monitor assigned relationships for emerging credit risks.
• Track financial reporting, covenant compliance, and collateral.
• Manage exceptions, past-due reviews, and documentation gaps.
• Prepare SARs quarterly.
• Monitor portfolio delinquencies.
• Coordinate analysts and stakeholders; assign and prioritize workflow.
• Review analyst outputs for accuracy and consistency.
• Coach on financial analysis and credit risk expectations.
• Facilitate cross-team communication to resolve issues.
• Support client retention and relationship growth with managers.
• Guide credit policy and portfolio administration.
• Collaborate with Credit Administration and Loan Operations.
• Serve as a trusted resource on relationships and portfolio matters.
• Ensure activities comply with policies and regulations.
• Support audits, loan reviews, regulatory examinations.
• Prepare portfolio reporting and risk assessments.
• Contribute to process improvements for portfolio quality.
