Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to independently analyze financial statements and understand basic accounting principles.
• Understanding of loan structuring, borrowing causes and lending regulations.
• Must be able to make sound independent decisions and communicate them clearly in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Active listening and ability to work with a cross-functional team to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and decision renewals and new credit requests focusing on risk assessment and asset quality.
• Meet underwriting guidelines and policy; undergo review by Loan Review or OCC.
• Maintain productivity and CAM targets while delivering timely credit analyses.
• Provide credit expertise to RM and bankers, balancing risk and growth.
• Lead or support projects and mentor less experienced underwriters.
