Job summary

DHL CRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead FM services on a tactical and operational level, directing a team and service providers to deliver technical facilities management across properties. The role emphasizes building system functionality, policy compliance, and service excellence.

You will manage budgets, oversee vendors, drive cost-saving initiatives, and coordinate with EH&S and stakeholders to enhance property value and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of facilities management experience.
• Strong vendor and contract management skills.
• Experience coordinating with Finance on budgets.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Practical knowledge of EH&S standards and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure building systems operate optimally and comply with internal policies.
• Oversee vendors and contracts using KPIs and SLAs; coordinate with Finance on budgets.
• Identify savings opportunities and report on operations and projects.
• Administer EH&S environmental programs and risk/insurance requirements for vendors.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers and facilities staff.
• Handle after-hours facilities-related emergencies and determine corrective actions.
• Oversee maintenance of properties, equipment, and mechanical systems to support operations.

Job Purpose:

Manage FM services in a tactical and operational level. Direct team and service providers in executing the FM tactical and operational goals. Main focus is on technical FM scope.

Your tasks:

• Ensure optimal functionality of building systems and provide high-quality technical services while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
• Oversee vendors and maintenance helpers, manage contracts through KPIs and SLAs, and collaborate with Finance on budget development.
• Identify technical savings initiatives, coordinate inspections to determine required technical services, and provide regular reports on operations and projects to enhance property value and efficiency
• Administer environmental programs in partnership with the company's EH&S Manager. Ensure adherence to Corporate Risk Management policies and Insurance requirements for vendors/contractors
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and facilities staff
• Operate the A/P invoice payment system to validate and approve costs associated with the technical aspects of the facilities
• Respond to after-hours facilities-related emergencies and determine the appropriate course of action to resolve issues
• Responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and overseeing the maintenance of properties, facilities, equipment, and mechanical systems to support operational effectiveness
