U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned CRE Risk Advisory professional to partner with multiple CRE units in navigating operational risk, governance, and remediation.

You will investigate issues, advise on controls, and drive process improvements while balancing business needs and risk considerations. The role requires collaboration across risk, compliance, audit, and legal teams, with a strong consultative approach and ability to influence senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of applicable experience.
• Expert understanding of risk management, controls, governance processes.
• Strong understanding of laws, regulations, and financial services risk.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a trusted risk advisor to CRE business partners on risk, controls, and governance.
• Support issue identification, remediation planning, and resolution of risk events.
• Partner with leaders to evaluate risks in new initiatives and changes.
• Lead process improvement, mapping, and workflow optimization.
• Coordinate and support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and remediation activities.
• Assist with risk documentation, governance activities, and monitoring.
• Support business continuity planning and third-party oversight.
• Assess impacts of organizational changes and recommend mitigations.
• Collaborate across risk, compliance, audit, legal, and operations to address issues.
• Monitor risk trends and provide recommendations to strengthen processes.
