Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking an Intern in Property Management in Chicago, IL. This role offers a chance to learn property management basics while processing invoices and enhancing tenant experiences. You will gain insights into financial reporting and assist the General Manager with various administrative tasks.

The internship runs from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027. Ideal candidates are pursuing a business degree and have a knack for taking initiative and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in business or related field.
• Interest in property management.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
• Comfortable with public speaking.
• Ability to develop relationships.
• Ability to problem solve and bring innovative ideas to a challenge.
• Able to work independently, with minimal direction.
• Able to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and code all accounts payable invoices at the property per established schedules.
• Ensure invoices are paid on time and review all past due invoices to ensure proper payment.
• Collect rent and ensure accounts receivable balances are minimized at the property.
• Administer tenant relations programs, including tenant events.
• Handle any tenant issues regarding maintenance or service requests quickly.
