Job summary

Trez Capital in Addison, Texas is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Financial Analyst to underwrite loan opportunities and perform in-depth financial analysis on prospective transactions for the U.S. Origination team.

You will build property- and loan-level models, assess risks, collaborate on approvals, and support due diligence with external partners, delivering concise analyses for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, economics, accounting, or related discipline.
• 1–4 years of CRE lending, investment, banking, finance, valuation, or accounting.
• Experience underwriting CRE transactions and interpreting operating statements, rent rolls, market data.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of CRE fundamentals, lending structures, valuation concepts, and credit metrics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite prospective CRE loans reviewing borrower financials and market data.
• Build and maintain property- and loan-level financial models and analyses.
• Prepare term sheets, proposals, and memoranda for approvals.
• Conduct market research including rents, vacancies, and growth trends.
• Assess risks and recommend mitigants.
• Coordinate due diligence with appraisers, counsel, and third parties.
• Produce analyses and presentations for senior decision-makers.
• Support reporting for Origination team.
