Associated Bank in St. Louis, MO, on-site, is launching a five-month Credit Analyst Program (CRE) beginning May 24, 2027.

You will support the Commercial Real Estate team with financial analysis, cash flow reviews, and underwriting while learning from experienced colleagues across the organization. This entry-level program builds a foundation for a career in credit and commercial banking through dedicated training, projects, and mentorship, with opportunities to advance into portfolio management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Preferred internship experience with other banks or financial institutions.
• Demonstrated customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with or exposure to financial and credit analysis concepts.
• Financial analysis and cash flow analysis experience.
• Credit analysis skills.
• Strong analytical thinking.

Responsabilités

• Learn and understand Associated's credit approach and underwriting process, including spreading and analyzing financial data.
• Begin underwriting of existing and new credit transactions and monitor a loan portfolio.
• Learn lending cycle and banking products to support clients and prospects.
• Assist in analyzing capital structure and financial needs to develop financial solutions.
• Understand relationship banking value proposition.
