Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services with commercial banking experience focusing on CRE
• Proven leadership of regional or national front-line relationship teams
• Strong credit, risk management, and portfolio management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a talented CRE Banking team to support goals and growth
• Provide oversight and direction for City National Bank's CRE Banking division
• Develop and execute CRE banking business plans aligned with corporate objectives
• Meet financial targets, drive revenue, manage expenses, and enhance profitability and credit quality
• Operate in a robust control environment with full regulatory compliance
• Drive business development and deepen client relationships to grow share of wallet
• Lead market analysis to identify opportunities and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with Wealth Management and Private Banking to leverage cross-sell opportunities
• Communicate long-term direction and motivate teams to achieve objectives
• Foster process improvements to enhance client experience and efficiency
• Maintain staffing levels and optimize resources for client support and profitability
