Job summary

Huntington in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Treasury Management Advisor II who will acquire and develop profitable treasury management relationships and retain existing clients.

You will prospect sales opportunities, price and structure TM solutions, prepare customer proposals, and partner with regional teams to drive opportunities while tracking weekly results. This role may mentor teammates and contribute to product evolution as Huntington evolves its treasury offerings.

Qualifications

• Three+ years banking experience with treasury management focus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in banking/treasury management.
• CTP or other professional designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new treasury management relationships.
• Price products, structure deals, and prepare customer proposals.
• Build internal partnerships to drive TM opportunities.
• Cross-sell bank products and monitor competitor offerings.
• Manage relationship plans, pipeline reviews, and weekly/monthly results.

Description Summary: The Treasury Management Advisor II acquires and develops new profitable and quality treasury management relationships. Also, retains and deepens existing customer relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sales Prospecting
• Product pricing and structuring
• Customer proposals
• Proactively builds internal relationships with regional partners and relationship managers to drive TM opportunities
• Cross sells other bank products, and stays current on competitor offerings to suggest product improvements
• Proactive management of Banker relationship, including routine 1:1’s, development and execution of relationship plans, pipeline reviews, pre-call plans, partner plans, and joint calling
• Responsible for maintaining and managing to weekly and monthly sales results and ensure the timely entering of weekly data and monitor for accuracy
• Assists in outbound calling initiatives offer new solutions to clients and ensure Huntington as our customer’s primary banking relationship
• May mentor other Treasury Management colleagues
• Responsible for being a positive change agent as Huntington evolves its products and strategies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Three or more years banking experience with a focus on treasury management/cash management
• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent experience of 4 or more years in banking and/or Treasury Management in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Three or more years of Treasury Management Experience
• CTP or other professional designation
