Job summary

CTech Manufacturing is seeking candidates to package finished goods and support production/shipment scheduling. The role involves safe packaging, pallet maintenance, countertop cutting, cabinet inspection, and assisting in assembly and related areas.

You will work with various tools and safety procedures to ensure timely, accurate shipments. The position requires familiarity with hand and power tools, forklift operation preferred, and ability to read rulers and cut sheets.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize tasks from production/shipment schedule.
• Experience with safe packaging and shipping methods.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a ruler and perform measurements.
• Trained in use of various hand/power tools; forklift operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize tasks from the production/shipment schedule with Lead approval.
• Determine safe packaging and shipping methods for products.
• Maintain pallets 3–4 days ahead of assembly.
• Cut countertops per cut sheets and glue as needed (laminate, stainless, aluminum).
• Inspect cabinets and sign off on inspection lists.
• Assist in wrapping cabinets and accessories as needed.
• Assist in Assembly and Pit Cart areas as required.
• Maintain shipping tools and ensure proper care and storage.
• Monitor packing supplies and inventory of wood, foam, and staples.
• Strive to continually improve processes, systems and communications.
• Set priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with team leaders, employees, management and vendors.
• Stay adaptable to changing priorities and take on new tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety rules.
