Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Shipping and Crating Technician to securely prepare products for transit and manage materials on the shop floor. You will build custom crates, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate shipping documents.

This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and attention to detail in a loud industrial environment, with hands-on use of power tools and equipment to support logistics and production operations, while collaborating with inventory and production teams to meet carrier

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally move heavier items.
• Basic computer literacy for documentation and inventory tasks.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Forklift operation certification or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct custom crates and protective packaging tailored to specific product dimensions to ensure safe delivery.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing freight.
• Verify shipment accuracy by inspecting materials against bills of lading and quality standards.
• Manage inventory storage and supply production lines with necessary components to maintain workflow.
• Utilize pneumatic tools, nail guns, and saws to build skids and crates efficiently.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and equipment upkeep to ensure a safe, organized work environment.
• Maintain precise shipping documentation and labeling to comply with carrier and safety regulations.
