Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a detail-oriented Crating/Packaging Technician in Sedalia, MO to create, wrap and crate materials for transport. You will use wood crates, boxes and platforms, selecting hardware and padding to protect assets.

The role requires precise measurement, proper labeling, and safe handling of crates and heavy components. You will work under the Logistics Manager, ensure compliance with IPSM regulations, and support inventory by ordering lumber and assisting with offloads as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of carpentry experience.
• US work authorization required; no sponsorship.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates crates, boxes, platforms per instructions and customer requirements.
• Assembles materials and packs items using hand/power tools.
• Operates carpentry tools and safe-lifting practices on-site and in-shop.
• Measures, weights, and verifies crate dimensions for shipping.
• Transports crates to shipping area and assists in inventory records.
