Job summary

Toyoda Gosei North America in Michigan is seeking a Test Technician to support the Research and Technical Center. You will disassemble and reassemble Anthropomorphic Test Devices (ATDs), install instrumentation, and ensure proper calibration for daily crash-test activities.

The role emphasizes hands-on assembly, inspection, and timely preparation for test cells. Strong candidates will have 2–4 years in small electronics or lab testing, plus experience with transducers and basic circuits.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 2–4 years experience with small electronics or test labs is required.
• Experience with transducers, basic circuits and wiring harnesses is preferred.
• Ability to solder and repair small electronics and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble Anthropomorphic Test Devices (ATDs).
• Install and qualify ATD instrumentation (accelerometers, load cells, potentiometers).
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair ATD instrumentation.
• Prepare ATDs for daily testing and ensure proper calibration records.
