Position: RHTP Workforce Data Analyst
Location: Providence, RI
Project Duration: 1 Year from Projected Start Date
The RHTP Workforce Data Analyst is responsible for supporting workforce planning, evaluation, and reporting activities within Rhode Island's federally funded Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). Working at a professional level, this position performs data collection, management, analysis, visualization, and reporting functions across multiple workforce development initiatives designed to strengthen the rural healthcare workforce.Under the direction of the Rural Health Workforce Transformation Coordinator, Director of Health Workforce Transformation, and other senior EOHHS leadership, the Workforce Data Analyst develops and maintains workforce data systems, analyzes program outcomes, prepares dashboards and reports, and translates complex findings into actionable recommendations that support workforce strategy, program implementation, and federal grant reporting requirements.The incumbent collaborates with state agencies, healthcare providers, educational institutions, employers, subrecipients, vendors, and community partners to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of workforce data. Responsibilities include supporting performance measurement, program evaluation, provider qualification initiatives, and integration of workforce data across multiple RHTP programs, including training, education, residency, licensure, placement, recruitment, retention, and behavioral health workforce initiatives.This position operates within established federal and state guidelines and exercises independent judgment and initiative in carrying out assigned responsibilities. The position does not supervise staff.
