Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. seeks an Operating Supervisor for Facilities and Field Services Cranes and Rigging to lead system-wide crane operations, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with permitting agencies.

The role requires strong supervision, planning, and emergency response skills within a large urban utility network. The position offers a full-time schedule at the Astoria Main Offices, with a salary range of $90,000 to $137,400 and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years professional work experience OR

Responsibilities

• Supervise Cranes & Rigging personnel in safe, productive work
• Coordinate with Federal/State/Local agencies for licensing and permits
• Plan, schedule, and assign qualified personnel to meet operations and customer needs
• Manage emergency response, call-ins, overtime, and resource coordination
• Ensure accurate time reporting, permitting data, and invoice approvals
• Deliver training and coach employees on required skills and procedures
• Oversee lift planning and safe transport of oversized equipment in NYC/Westchester
• Identify process improvements to control costs and boost productivity
• Promote professionalism, teamwork, and safety across teams
