Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. seeks an Operating Supervisor for Facilities and Field Services Cranes and Rigging to lead system-wide crane operations, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate licensing with relevant agencies.

You will plan staffing, supervise crews, manage emergency responses, and oversee timekeeping and invoicing while advancing safety and efficiency across NY service areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years professional experience or
• Associate's degree with 4 years professional experience or
• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years professional experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and corporate policies.
• Supervise cranes & rigging personnel in safe, productive performance of work.
• Plan, schedule, prioritize and assign qualified personnel to meet operational needs.
• Manage emergency response, call-ins, overtime, and resource coordination.
• Ensure time reporting, permitting data, timesheet validations, and invoicing compliance.
• Deliver training and support employee development and accountability.
• Address performance through documentation and corrective action.
• Oversee lift planning and safe transport of heavy equipment across NYC and Westchester.
