MGX Equipment Services, LLC is seeking a Shop Crane Technician in Ankeny, IA. The role focuses on inspection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of mobile cranes and boom trucks, reporting to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing cranes, reading schematics, and ensuring OEM compliance. Benefits include a $2,500 sign-on bonus and tool reimbursement up to $1,500 annually.

Formación

• Two years of experience as Mechanic/Technician required.
• Experience with Grove RT & TMS, Grove GMK, Manitowoc EPIC/traditional cranes preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong communication with customers required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Must purchase full set of hand tools up to 1.5 inches.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and inspect cranes to diagnose defects.
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes; repair hydraulic and electrical components.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints and drawings; inspect parts for wear.
• Test systems after repair to OEM specs.
• Prepare for jobs by checking parts and drawings.
• Perform annual inspections.
• Complete reports, timesheets and expense reports.
• Work independently without direct supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
