Job summary

Morgan Engineering is seeking a full-time Crane Technician to install, commission and maintain our industrial overhead cranes at customer sites across the United States. You will read blueprints, measure with micrometers, and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as micrometers.
• Basic organization, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, wire, and commission overhead cranes at customer sites in the U.S.
• Perform preventative maintenance on overhead cranes
• Inspect mechanical and electrical systems on cranes
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems including AC/DC
• Work safely at heights up to 100 feet
