Job summary

All-Lift Systems, Inc. in Neenah, WI is hiring a Crane Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair hoist and crane equipment.

The technician will service overhead crane systems and support customers on-site with a focus on safety and compliance. The role requires 5+ years of crane/hoist troubleshooting, experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and cranes; an associate's degree in Industrial Electrician or Electro-Mechanical Technology is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
• Overhead crane and scissor lift experience required.
• Associates degree with concentration in Industrial Electrician or Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Ability to work at height, in extreme temperature and noisy locations; physically demanding (50–100 lbs).
• Perform inspections to OSHA criteria.
• Ability to work independently and deal directly with the customer.
• Communication skills both internal and external; safety mindset.
• Must use own hand tools and meter.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service overhead crane systems and hoists by performing quality installations.
• Perform OSHA equivalent inspections; documenting and completing warranty work; troubleshooting breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance; and respond to emergency service/breakdown calls.
• Support customers by interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed.
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineered drawings.
• Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.
• Develop knowledge of Federal, State, and local codes for overhead cranes and hoists.
• Responsible for company equipment including, company vehicle(s), tools, etc.
