Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure in Sparks, NV is seeking a skilled Crane Structural Welder/Fabricator to weld and fabricate crane components using MIG, TIG, and stick processes. You will read blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure high-quality, safe welds on steel and aluminum structures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as structural welder in crane or heavy machinery work.
• AWS or equivalent welding certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG and stick welding processes.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate crane structural components including torsion boxes, booms and outriggers.
• Interpret blueprints and specs to determine welding and fabrication requirements.
• Set up welding equipment and operate fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds for defects, ensuring strength and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to ensure proper fit and alignment.
