Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is building a semiconductor plant in New Albany, Ohio. The Rigging Superintendent will supervise cranes & rigging operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time delivery across multiple sites and teams.

Requires a bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 8–14 years of relevant experience in heavy industrial construction, with NCCCO/rigging certifications preferred and strong knowledge of load charts and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
• Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience is preferred, with crane/rigging focus.
• Must be computer literate and able to read technical documents and load charts.

Responsibilities

• Provide ES&H leadership and safety procedures for the rigging department.
• Manage site cranes and rigging operations in accordance with procedures and regulations.
• Plan manpower and equipment, coordinate with subcontracts, and monitor craft performance.
• Review time records, prepare reports, and forecast construction progress and expenditures.
• Ensure qualifications and training for crane operators and rigging personnel.
