Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Crane Operator for our Cleveland, OH client in a heavy industrial forging environment. The role requires operating cranes/overhead and safely moving steel bundles, with potential 2nd/3rd shift overtime.

You must have 1+ year of manufacturing experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, and follow strict safety rules. This is a contract-to-hire onsite position with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years experience operating cranes/overhead.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove steel bundles from incoming trucks and place them in designated storage bins.
• Transport steel bundles between storage bins and shear machines.
• Verify each bundle's tags for part number, heat code, customer name, and weight.
• Report any safety concerns or discrepancies immediately.
• Safely dispose of slug buckets from shears in appropriate receptacles.
