Qualifications

• Overhead crane operator certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, move and position heavy steel elements.
• Follow OSHA/ASME B30 safety procedures; perform pre/post inspections.
• Read load charts and rigging plans; inspect rigging gear for capacity.
• Coordinate lifts with riggers, signalers, and ground crew.
• Perform daily inspections and report malfunctions; assist minor repairs.
• Maintain logs of crane operations, loads and maintenance activities.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, supporting production schedules.
