Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Crane Operator to operate hydraulic and cable cranes, lifting and moving materials safely in a busy yard environment. You will follow Health, Safety, and Environmental standards to ensure a safe workplace for employees, customers, and visitors.

The role requires attention to load weights, coordination with the team, and routine equipment checks. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and experience with various crane types; a valid driver’s license is

Related training or experience operating different types of cranes preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Move levers, depress pedals, or turn dials to operate cranes for lifting, moving, or placing loads.
Determine load weights and check against lifting capacities to prevent overloads.
Load or unload bundles from trucks or move material to or from containers using moving equipment.
Take actions to avoid hazards or obstructions such as other equipment, workers, or moving objects.
Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and other activities to position or move loads.
