Job summary

Joyce Steel Erection, Ltd. seeks an experienced crane operator to work on job sites across various locations in the United States. You will operate cranes under supervision, conduct routine inspections, and direct truck drivers and helpers during assembly, disassembly, and crane setup.

A Class A CDL and NCCCO certification are mandatory, with strong knowledge of OSHA/ANSI standards. This role requires traveling to job sites, mentoring peers, and maintaining safety records and logs in accordance

Qualifications

• Minimum Class A CDL required.
• NCCCO Crane Operator Certification required for the size and type of crane used.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI standards for crane and rigging services.
• Pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, DOT physical, and 7-year background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane under control and supervision at job sites.
• Inspect crane and all components daily and monthly.
• Direct truck drivers and crane helpers during assembly/disassembly and crane setup.
• Maintain logbook and hours; travel to job sites as required.
• Mentor other crane operators and helpers; follow safety policies.
