Job summary

Joyce Steel Erection, Ltd. is seeking candidates to support crane operations. You will assist with aligning, leveling, and setting up cranes, and help with assembly/disassembly under supervision.

Responsibilities include attaching lifting gear, signaling loads, and moving loads safely on job sites. The role requires DOT physical clearance, background checks, basic mechanical skills, and a flexible schedule including travel and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Be able to pass a DOT physical, drug and alcohol screen, and a 7-year background check.
• Have basic mechanical skills.
• Flexible schedule, able to travel and work all days and times.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work all days and times, 24/7 operation environment.
• Must follow directions from the crane operator and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in aligning, leveling, and setting up the crane.
• Assist in assembly/disassembly under supervision of crane operator.
• Attach load lifting devices to crane and loads safely.
• Control movements of loads using tagline and signaling.
• Follow crane to job sites and maintain cleanliness and housekeeping.
