Olympic Steel in Minneapolis is seeking a Crane Operator to safely move materials in the warehouse. The role requires knowledge of cranes, lifting devices, and banding equipment, with a focus on safety and quality.

Shift is second shift, 3:00pm–11:00pm, Monday–Friday. Pay range is $28.50–$29.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the related field.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety conscious.
• Basic math skills; familiarity with cranes and lifting devices helpful.
• Must lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds; basic computer proficiency desired.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transfer materials in the warehouse.
• Inspect work area, machines, and equipment daily for safe conditions.
• Operate banding equipment and tow-motor as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality consciousness while performing duties.
