Olympic Steel is seeking a Crane Operator in Plymouth, MN to safely transfer materials in the warehouse and ensure daily safety checks of cranes, lifting devices, and attachments.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, 1 year of related experience, forklift familiarity, and adherence to safety and quality standards; we offer a second-shift schedule 3:00pm–11:00pm with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in crane operation or related field.
• Forklift experience required.
• Mechanically inclined with safety and quality consciousness.
• Basic math skills; familiarity with crane operations and lifting devices.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on 2nd shift, 3:00pm–11:00pm, M-F.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane to safely transfer materials in the warehouse.
• Inspect work area and equipment daily for safe conditions.
• Operate banding equipment, packaging material, and tow-motor.
